LIMBO is a platform game made by a Danish video game company by the name of Playdead. The game itself is stylised in Black & White which adds to its almost creepy atmospheric feel. LIMBO could be considered a work of art, as you explore the backgrounds and atmosphere are astonishing, The game is multi platform although of course I have only played the PC version. As you venture further into this dark adventure, you will encounter many interesting puzzles and objects that help you defeat it. Word of warning, if you suffer from arachnophobia, maybe this game isn't for you. Throughout different puzzles spiders appear as what can only be described as 'bosses which you can't defeat'. Instead you must be resourceful and work out how to avoid them. The movement on this game is really impressive, even if it does feel like physics has been slightly altered considering this little boy can push things four times his own weight. Although the game was beautiful, there was nothing in the game that really changed too much after the fourth or so level. For this reason I was slightly disappointed as it became a little repetitive, that said this game was still very enjoyable (and frustrating). I also found that this wasn't a game that you could play twice, after I'd finished it I saw no point in playing it again because I know exactly what to do, and why. Much like LA Noire.
So, without further ado. I give this game a... 7/10
